@goatsarah honestly I’ve found the best way to work is to divide the day up and build around high priority boring tasks in the morning, a mid afternoon exercise session (3:30-4:30 if I’m not walking the dog I’m sat at my desk being distracted and achieving nothing, so why not step away?) and then having a second push with more mellow/simple tasks 4:30-6ish.
The mix of mental and physical effort has to conform to the ebbs and flows of my brain juice.
