Oh, yeah, it was bad for the first couple of weeks. It's basically healed up, just most of the fur hasn't grown back.

Ha! I have discovered that I cannot wipe or brush my teeth using my left hand.

I survived without keyboard for four or five days, but the only way I was able to survive was by being asleep most of the time.
