@cassolotl This is what I wrote to my MP, if it helps anyone:

The recent Supreme Court ruling on the legal definition of "woman" is a great setback for women's rights. It subjects all women to gender policing - if accused of being trans in a women's space, how can a "biological woman" prove she is a biological woman? The inevitable consequence of this law is that cis women with medical conditions that make their presentation less typical will face immense difficulties and insecurity. Those biological women whose gender expression does not conform to narrow norms are also likely to be targeted by the gender police.

In addition, the logic of the ruling is that trans men, who not only are men but usually look very much like men, would be required to use women's spaces, causing further distress to the very women seeking to eject trans women!

Please work to ensure we have laws in place that allow trans women to exist in society as women, and without exposing ALL women to the gender police.
