this reminds me of when graf was trying to find ways to fight the same spam this guy was dealing with. there are organizations that maintain databases of known hashes of illegal files, so site owners can use that as a filter to prevent uploads of that material.

I can't remember their stated justification but these organizations refused to work with him, I think it was because poast doesn't censor people the way they wanted, or he wasn't in their gay little club or something.

these people use CSAM as a political tool, it's actually difficult to overstate how despicable these people are.
