It's not the first time he made a blunder like this. Back when he was in charge of 2channel, someone stole and leaked user data including credit card info because he stored it in plaintext on the server, with fully open permissions too, so anybody could just navigate to the text file in their browser. Nishimura is a notoriously bad administrator and I'm surprised 4chan didn't get hacked a lot sooner.
