xianc78@PhenomX6 @alex @gnusocialjp @ryo Well, there are certain situations where building a "brand" makes sense like if you are an indie/hobbyist game developer, streamer, commissions artist, etc but still don't want to deal with the bullshit of mainstream social media. The people here who reuse their names or even use their real names only do it because of that. It's basically the same exception when it comes to using tripcodes on anonymous imageboards.
