Heidi Li FeldmanI’m sure that Roberts himself is hoping that somehow the Court can duck taking a position on the lower court’s jurisdiction and on the remedy it specified, the order to return Abrego Garcia. The only way this can happen though, is if the Trump executive voluntarily returns Abrego Garcia, mooting the need for the Supreme Court to rule - very unlikely - or if Abrego Garcia is confirmed dead, mooting the need for the remedy - sadly, more likely, though no indication now that he is not alive. 3/3
