@mint @barrybestt it was sometime after I stole the WRT54G and flashed it with custom firmware while they were out grocery shopping and they went nuclear and unplugged it permanently and I started building Yagis that my dad decided it wasn’t worth a visit from the FCC

I had a USB 802.11g dongle shaped like a 54G that I removed from its enclosure and I could only get online for an hour or two at a time cuz I was pumping so much juice into it that it’d overheat unless I put it in one of those freezable frosted mugs
