Kiloku@augustocc a palavra Sith não foi usada em nenhum dos filmes da trilogia original. Apesar disso esteve nos rascunhos de roteiro desde o primeiro filme. A novelização oficial, ainda em 1976, chega a usar o título Dark Lord of the Sith pro Darth Vader
