I think it would take, optimistically, 15 years for America to reindustrialize to the point the same products available now exist again 100% home made. And the will to make it happen ofc.

The immediate problem is tech and military are crippled by being unable to manufacture basic electronic components (transistors, resistors, gates) at scale to assemble equipment
