    @xianc78 the microSD card thing isn't proprietary or anything, it's just that it needs the card to be faster. there were actually problems when modding games on the switch with this, if you were modding smash back in the day when you had to load the game off the SD card you had to have a really fast one otherwise it would legitimately take like 5 minutes to load a single match.

    "marginally better graphics" is a bit of an understatement. we'd be lucky if metroid prime 4 was 1080p30 on the standard switch and actually maintained that, but they're saying switch 2 is going to have 4k60 and 1080p120 modes. if they can actually hit those targets i would say that is a substantial improvement from the original switch. maybe you're thinking that it was marginally better graphics because they just upgraded the handheld screen from 720p to 1080p?

    there are actually a lot of games that don't require payment for the enhancements. they're up on the website. i think they probably just wanted to showcase the ones that actually had the most substantial stuff. i'm definitely not paying for GPS navigation in zelda though lmao. the kirby DLC looks fun though i'll probably pick that up. that's a really fun game.
