I suppose I'm struggling with it because I already don't usually expect a response within a certain timeframe; that's why I'm using text comms in the first place. There's also a "Notify anyway" button which makes no sense to me; will that violate their notification preferences and force them to be pinged anyway? That seems deeply problematic if so.
