翠星石@SuperDicq Yes, at least Debian has basic decency in that area, but I'm sure they'll make the final insult soon enough.
If you navigate to debian.org, it doesn't say GNU/Linux anywhere on the page, although it does say; "Debian is a complete Free Operating System!", which would be a good thing if that was the truth - alas it's now a barefaced lie, as the big "Download" button now downloads a massive amount of proprietary software that takes the users freedom.
If you then navigate to the direct links, like; https://www.debian.org/intro/why_debian you see no mention of GNU and more barefaced lies like;
>Debian is made of free and open source software and will always be 100% free. Free for anyone to use, modify, and distribute. This is our main promise to our users.
(This promise was broken hard as Debian is now proprietary software by default).
>Debian is a Linux-based operating system
(It's based off GNU, just like how a decent car is based off a solid frame, not shoddily based off the transmission you put in).
>Linux distributions
(Those distributions are mostly distributions of software that is not Linux).
>the Linux kernel
(Linux is not more than a kernel)
>Proprietary drivers for hardware are available if necessary.
(Proprietary drivers for hardware are included by default (the Linux half, plus the extension of Linux half as proprietary peripheral software)).
If you navigate to https://www.debian.org/intro/people finally GNU is mentioned, but it mentions Linux first in; "the spirit of Linux and GNU", when GNU clearly belongs first, as it's not like Linux has any spirit (I'm sure the GNU part will be removed eventually too).
I don't regard Gentoo as precious and I regard the incorrect name as the ultimate insult against freedom that it is (the stage3 doesn't even have Linux in it, meaning correctly such download is; "Gentoo GNU").
