she left a few headless mice, birds or rabbits at the door a couple nights a week during spring and summer.
itd be like 2 am and shed be at the door makin a racket until we came to let her in. she didnt want to come in, tho. just showing off her catch. she'd eat the head and then leave the rest for us.
