I doubt it. From personal experience, being lied to by those who are notionally older, more experienced, and - crucially - endorsed by all those around you as 'right'? fucks your head immensely.
Even if, as you're suggesting, they have doubts? there is no safe way for them to express or explore those doubts: they would, in fact, be told that they are stupid for having them.
Judging people who are in abusive situations by your own standards isn't useful for you or them, and it gets in the way of fixing the situation; extending compassion - even if you think they don't deserve it - tends to work better for actually addressing the problem.
Do you want to be righteous, or do you want to be effective?
