Niki Tonsky@Olical as far as I can tell, the only real benefit comes from the fact that you don’t send passkey to the website. Instead, you prove you own it by signing some common challenge. That way your passkey never leaves your machine and can’t, even in theory, be stored by any other third party and therefore leaked
