So passkeys are just passwords I can't see or share on my devices in my password manager???

@Olical as far as I can tell, the only real benefit comes from the fact that you don’t send passkey to the website. Instead, you prove you own it by signing some common challenge. That way your passkey never leaves your machine and can’t, even in theory, be stored by any other third party and therefore leaked

@Olical the “can’t see it” part is mostly about forcing people to use password manager, which is a good thing too
