@hopland @andre No idea why you had to install an Android IDE.
Node and npm aren’t bundled, they’re installed from Node’s site to ensure the correct versions are available and do not interfere with any other versions(s) that may or may not exist.
The overriding reason for all design decisions is because these are the foundations of a peer to peer Web that everyday people will eventually be able to set up and use and that means the whole system will have to support a server (peer node) being set up in seconds and be self-maintaining.
Kitten is released and documented as I believe in sharing every brick of what I’m making, not just the finished house. (So that others can build similar houses should they want to.)
