I think White people have developed a character flaw or 2 over the years 😏 one being the fetishizing of productivity, the perception that stress and perpetual suffering are character building virtues, and that excessive remorse and guilt are helpful. We've also managed to pervert stoicism and put a high value on individualistic personal gain who considering friends and family as obstacles to all of these things.
