@Fragglemuppet there's not a strong rpg element to it — you choose a gender and there are a lot of branches in how you respond to characters, but there's no character classes or ability points or anything. there are levels and it's harder to level up the higher you go, as with rpgs, and you have to interact with the other characters to level *them* up too. i'm basically nice to everyone except gaston, to whom i always choose the bitchiest option. and as my character is maxed out at level 40, i describe myself as a level-40 disney princess
