@ianRobinson I've had long acquaintances with two critics, one of whom thinks finding fault is his job, the other who gives everything a farir shot, but isn't beyond leveling hellacious criticism when deserved. The first called me once after a production of mine he was reviewing and told me he was in tears after the show it moved him so much.

He then proceeded to pan it in his review. I called him up and asked "where were the tears?" and he said, my readers expect negative reviews.
