@skinnylatte my mother was of the sweet-milky breakfast preference.
She was HORRIFIED by my salty/sour/rice-based breakfast. Had she known that after her death I would go on to eat seaweed and tofu and kimchis for breakfast - she would have turned around and died again.
I have one sibling who's like me (my "taste-buddy”, which is a term my mother coined) and two who very much are NOT.
Go figure.
