Telepyleia@skinnylatte I think that's not just a centralisation issue perhaps, but also a locality / nearness aspect in a literal physical sense? Greek style or swiss "stand in the marketplace and vote" states are also not centralized like an authoritarian city state, but the politics are very local due to proximity?
