If you have certain conditions, such as a TBI or dementia it goes much faster. But cutting people who will evaluate SSDI applications will just kill people.
SSA has an appeal system if you are denied and if you make it all of the way the final judges tend to approve appeals because they have like 5 minutes to review each case.
