By way of example, I was the best men for a friend of mine. The agreement was that he would get me a room in the city (because driving there is a pain due to traffic). At the last minute, he told me he decided to not comp the room, but he still wanted me there at 8am. Apparently, this was the fiancee's decision (she hates me btw, so it was too fuck me). I told him I'd get there when I get there and took my sweet time. I don't put up with bullshit. If he put a woman's unnecessary demand ahead of his family, I hope she's there when he needs someone. 🤷♂️
