- Embed this noticeI have a quasi-close friend who does it. She's as nutty as they are. Basically admits she doesn't for the money, and that her client's fucked up lives are their problem.
I honestly don't think that way. My clients are real people with real needs. I like getting paid, but it's not why I do it. People need help, people want to be relieved of their problems, they want guidance and some sense of surety. Sometimes, I think that my job is much like being the oarsman on the river Stix. I guide people across unknown waters.
