@ryo @Telvannichad @sapphire There was a period of time in the 80s and 90s where Disney (I know, pedophiles…) and Dreamworks were having some back and forth producing some memorable works. I think some were still using rotoscoping and conveyed weightedness and lighting properly. It’s just a damn shame that the animations were largely targeted for children. And by the time the aughts began, the family/children animation industry had pretty much been taken over by CGI. Western cartoons for adult markets are still stuck on family guy tier stuff that never takes itself seriously.
