Can’t imagine losing 4 kids in a row, very harrowing. India really seems like hell on earth, flies and shit and jeets everywhere, you’re sick all the time, your kids keep dying. I’ve got a lot of respect for the personal gallantry of these imperialists but going to these shitholes at all was the height of Faustian folly.
