@maggiejk Gone are the days when a bad marriage is a life sentence and it would be a damned good thing to keep it that way. My Mom swore off of men entirely after just getting fed up with sharing space with and tending to the needs of infantile Boomer men who need a Mommy to fold their clothes, cook for them, wile their a--, etc more than a partner. I can't say I blame her. Thankfully she is financially independent and could afford to do so. Many don't have this freedom and that is bullsh--
