Michael McWilliams@kims I have a similar staircase in my home with the one step in the middle of the landing. At night that one step is hard to see and a serious hazard. I installed battery operated motion lights throughout the stairway and it's the best thing I did that year. The handrails were both toward the center so at least I didn't have to deal with that.
