@mischievoustomato@tsundere.love @penny@mk.noob.quest i think it all comes down to the simple fact mozilla wants to group the "just got on the internet" crowd as well as the "privacy aficionado power-user" crowd, which of course is almost impossible as even though most websites are convenience-based now, mozilla doesn't really offer convenience in terms of streaming, config/setting toggling, etc. if i were mozilla i'd invest in just biting the bullet and making a webkit-based browser for the normals and keep gecko for the privacy-oriented types. idk.
