Tried to check the RoyalRoad forums to see if I could find some general writing advice, and holy fuck is it grim over there. I didn't see a single post that didn't include a section on gaming the algorithm, maximizing readers, and dragging people over to Kindle Unlimited for maximum profit. No tips on how to improve writing, or refine ideas, or anything that might actually aid someone in becoming a better writer, just "here's how to better exploit the dumb suckers who clicked on your story :jew: ".
