Tried to check the RoyalRoad forums to see if I could find some general writing advice, and holy fuck is it grim over there. I didn't see a single post that didn't include a section on gaming the algorithm, maximizing readers, and dragging people over to Kindle Unlimited for maximum profit. No tips on how to improve writing, or refine ideas, or anything that might actually aid someone in becoming a better writer, just "here's how to better exploit the dumb suckers who clicked on your story :jew: ". It's fucking depressing man. :mokou_lying:

@wgiwf @Giganova8 @Tactical romantic idealism is treated as an antisocial vice, much like how old pagan rome treated empathy as a antisocial vice

@branman65 @Giganova8 @Tactical That's why capitalism and communism as ideologies aren't all that different at their core: they both reduce existence to material concerns without any regard for the transcendent.

@Giganova8 Talk to @Tactical he can offer some insight, he's an actual author.
Everything sucks because no one is a romantic idealist anymore when it comes to art, but a bloodsucking materialist.

I just wanted to see if I could find some stuff about coming up with good story concepts, or like some writing exercises or something, that wasn't on some shitty click-farm blog, but instead I get a guide on how to best rugpull my audience to make the most profit possible :barb_cope:
At least I can see now why the Western literature scene sucks so damn bad these days (aside from all the faggotry, of course)
