Shannon PersistsWhat I don't understand is why the Mastodon app only has so many characters, but the Fedilab app almost always gives you enough room to tell your story or observation or opinion. No idea why the character limit is not generous and universal. Are we really paying by the letter or something? I don't understand any of it!
