I'm not against violence but if history teaches only one universal truth its that violence begets violence.

Or to take Colin Powell's* thinking domestic violence is the failure of laws.

*I'm not a big Powell fan but he was the last Republican I had a shred of respect for and I'm pretty sure he died a Democrat.
