@icedquinn My laptop on idle can go down to 6-7w, I've seen people with laptops going down to 3-4. It's a matter of bios/acpi support, some software, and components. The NVME SSD my laptop has crashes if PCIE ASPM is enabled, so I need to get a new one in the future. The Wifi chip is also ass, which probably also means it draws more power than it should.
