I would never normally buy something this expensive just because it's pretty

(Well, apart from stray kids merch, um.)

I guess I cared more about having it done just right, because of how much I loved the design.

Buying the expensive paper felt worth it, as a special treat for myself.

In hindsight, it was a mistake to try to save money on the installation.

If nothing else, that's a useful lesson for me.
