EdBoatConnoisseur@poastoak @theorytoe nah, at home i have an outlet and light switch combo next to the sink in the bathroom, tho when i do wiring it is usually with shit from the scraps bin and while i'm drunk, yes this is my shower head, it has been wired like this and working for the last 6 years, yes the ground wire is connected to the pipe, no there is no "house central ground" since the wiring of this house was designed in the 60s or 70s, yes second pic is an outlet lightswitch combo on the house, one of the few that are still original.
