I recently got back to the project where linux was not booting from my ide machines on parabola. The linux downgrade didn't work and downgrading mkinitcpio did not work either. This version is on 36 which was from 2023, before the problem existed https://git.parabola.nu/mkinitcpio.git/. I know its detection related for certain now, however, as one of the drives is sata (which used a bridge) and after testing the drive on my sata-based 32 bit laptop it literally booted as if there was no issue whatsoever.
