You can either get sunglasses that fit over glasses (certain models look like normal sunglasses, rather than "old people sunglasses", but the glasses lens cannot be too wide, otherwise it won't fit), or you can get tinted glasses.

Contacts are poor for really physically active tasks (>3G peak force), whether in GNU/Car or going along GNU/Wall, as there's a chance one will fall out (then you can't see properly), while properly adjusted glasses stay in place even when you find yourself flying through the air.
