Irene Zhang@regehr @ricci @palvaro yeah, y’all dodged a bullet based on how he treats grad students. I gave him a talk as a first year grad student when he was at Google and funding our lab. He told me I was never going to get my research published (presumably because he wasn’t able to get similar research published). I published that work the next year in OSDI. Regardless of what he thought, it’s just an asshole thing to say to a first year.
