Bill Minarik@evan There are no Canadian-made electric cars -and unlikely to be. The cars manufactured in Ontario serve a different market all together -hence Chinese EVs and Canadian manufacturing are not in conflict. Reducing the tariff to, say, 25% on small, well-made EVs (that pass Canadian safety standards) would give Canadian consumers options they don't currently have.
