    @skylar @icon_of_computational_sin @sapphire If you write a virus for the kernel, Linux, you actually have to convince the user to install such kernel module as root, which isn't really that successful (although, many suckers have been conned into installing proprietary kernel modules and Linux developers have been known to be easy to convince to slap proprietary malware right into Linux (but of course GNU Linux-libre doesn't have that problem)).
