@p @ins0mniak my school was very easy to walk out of, but they had good bookkeeping so if your parents weren't fine with it you'd be in for a bad time
I had the same shitty math teachers at supposedly one of the best high schools in the state. In my downtime at uni I enjoyed going through our math textbook to catch up on what I didn't learn in HS, and I actually liked it a lot when the derivations for the theorems had focus, rather than exercises
