Kit Rhett Aultman@JenWithGravy @Melissabeartrix Roller derby did something similar for me. It gave me a place to enjoy the energy of tough athletic queer women by proxy and even occasionally be treated as "one of the girls" while I waited for a world where I could be non-binary.
