Can we not conceptually separate the existing cars from the Muskrat? The reason a lot of people bought Teslas was that they wanted a smaller environmental footprint. The cars are pretty good for that*. Burning them is not good for that and then you need more cars*

*Yes, I know public transport is best but for a lot of people in a lot of places it's not an option.
