This is the phone case I have to use because the State threatens me with violence (that they will follow through on) if I don’t carry and present my papers.

You can argue against having to carry and present State documents on principle, and I’d agree with you, but resisting a digital equivalent of this without an articulable rationale simply because it’s digital is dumb.
