RadarRider@ILoveAmericaNews I went there from the USMC in 1985 when Silly Cone Valley was blooming. Worked out well overall. I had a 5-year plan to move back to the Southeast and it took 6, but it's been good. Berkely Greek theatre, lots of big acts in small venues, that other amphitheatre up on the west hills I forget the name of...it was a blast. But the cost of living was insane. Average house price went from like $65K to $120K the year I moved there, and just kept skyrocketing.
