@mshiltonj for what I know, the most expensive part of hosting a Peertube instance is storage.

There are servers like Backblaze charging US$ 0,006/GB with free egress up to 3x the average total stored or via CDN partners.

But egress, AFAIK, is not much of an issue with Peertube as they implement a P2P approach that every user watching a video can become a source to another user instead of the main server.

This is cool.
