His flattened nose (broken in a brawl in his teen years) makes him look very different from his family, but its conspicuousness made it take a long time for us to notice he also has thickened bone development in his brows, cheekbones, and unusual jaw shape, and a tightened mouth consistent with muscle strain from overgrowth of the jawbone.
